More eating out in London

The obsession with good food continues into the new year... The '06 list was getting a little long, I'll start a new one.

The Bluebird Brasserie, Chelsea - light & lofty overlooking Kings Road, not so fabulous food but a nice environment.
The River Cafe, Hammersmith - lovely light restaurant with equally lovely food. Deserves to be famous even without Jamie Oliver.
Carluccio's, Richmond - I've mentioned it before I am sure but it's one of the best priced cafes in London with great food to boot. The only franchise I'll support!
Il Posto, Victoria - local Italian place we went to Flavia's bday dinner. My pasta was great.

Louise, Mull, Flavia & Laura at the table

Wooky Hole Inn, Wooky Hole - not in London but a great Sunday roast
Tom's Kitchen, Chelsea - so pleased to finally make it here and not at all disappointed. Its got a great atmosphere and a breakfast menu that left me wanting more
Meza, Soho - Conran tapas that were good but not great
Le Pain, Marylebone - great lunch spot but not if you are on the Atkins diet
La Fromagerie, Marylebone - quality food & ingredients in The Tasting Cafe, and quality star spotting with Keira Knightley seated to my right!
Arbutus, Soho - my first Michelin-starred restaurant experience and Belinda's 29th birthday dinner rolled into a great night out.
