York with a few of the girls

It'd been in the diary for months and it finally came. Our trip to York, timed with the local food festival, was this past weekend. Louise, Jaimee, Michelle & I spent 2 very laid back days shopping in the Shambles, strolling & tasting our way around the food stalls, eating yummy food (including tea at Betty's and dinner at Melton's), and even participated in 2 classes - matching food & wine and British cheese tasting. The city of York made a lovely & charming backdrop (think tudor, cobblestones, roman history).

Some pics from Saturday:

The matching food & wine course continued (without the food)
