I had the day off on Friday. After opening presents and chatting to lots of well-wishers, Mattias and I had brunch and then I spent the afternoon at the Ritual Rooms being pampered. In the evening, 20 of us headed to the Ambassador restaurant in Exmouth Market for dinner. I had a such a good time eating, drinking and enjoying being surrounded by friends.
The festivities continued as Mattias and I spent a long weekend in luxe surrounds in The Cotswolds. We stayed in Chipping Camden and lazed around the hotel (Cotswold House: Hermes bath products, fluffy white towels, breakfast in bed, and my favourite, "Would you like lime, lemon or orange in your water?" Stay here!) and visited a few villages and Blenheim Palace.
