It began with brunch with Louise at La Fromagerie on Marylebone High Street and a wander around the shops. It is a really nice part of London to shop in without any of the crowds.

(boiled eggs & soldiers!)
Afterwards Mattias and I took a tour of the Houses of Parliament. During the summer months it opens up for guided tours. We followed the route the Queen takes when she officially opens parliament for the year and walked through the House of Commons and House of Lords. Did you know the Speaker's Chair is made from Blackbean wood from Queensland?

And this afternoon I joined Tamara and some gals for her leaving London afternoon tea. After champagne, sandwiches, scones and tea I am full to the brim and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

(Why do sandwiches taste better with the crusts cut off?)
