Mum's 60th & Easter in not-so-sunny Qld

It's a long way to fly for lunch but well worth the trip. It was Mum's 60th birthday recently so I went back to Brisbane to celebrate with her. Mum, Rob, my great uncle Rob (guest appearance!) and I had a really lovely lunch at Alchemy on the river. Unbelievably I didn't take a single photo on the day which is a shame.

Mum and I then took off for a week at Noosa. It rained like cats and dogs but we made the most of being on hols lounging, eating out (surprise, surprise!) and walking by the beach and in the national park. No tan for me as a result of the wettest April on record but still a really nice and relaxing time. Warm too.

I spent Easter at Eumundi in the Sunshine Coast hinterland with some of my besties which was lots of fun and just great to hang out with them all. More rain ensued.

The days in between I spent with Rob, friends, and their bubs, and checking out the latest bars & restos in town. On a few days the sun did manage to show it's face which was cheering but Queensland no longer holds the title of the Sunshine State for me!

Rain or shine though I will always have an amazing time with friends and family and it was a fantastic three weeks.

See you all again in the not-too-distant future hopefully!

I have pretty much the same pic taken yesterday at Spirit House as you and you mum (well, actually you and your mum weren't present, so the only thing that was the same is the background!)
