Lake Vrynwy, our view for the weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our treatments and several hours spent relaxing in the thermal suite (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, heated lounges and cold showers). When the weather cleared a little we ventured out to the sculpture park at the foot of the flood gates of Lake Vrynwy (built in 1880). It was mesmerising watching the gallons and gallons of water rushing through the gates. For the rest of the weekend we read our books and watched DVDs, drank red wine and ordered room service!
