Kabak Bay Long Weekend

I took an extended long weekend - 5 days - with Stu, Kris and Mailie to a remote little bay on the south east coast of Turkey called Kabak Bay. It was a mission to get to, with two flights and a couple of taxis but that at least meant it was quiet location. We stayed at Turan Hill Lodge, a simple and rustic lodge in a lovely garden setting that overlooks the bay. Luckily delicious home-cooked Turkish dishes for breakfasts and dinners were included because once there, we weren't going anywhere.

Each day was spent swimming, lying on the beach under the umbrellas in the 26+ degree sunshine, and lunching at the beach restaurant.  One morning we hired a boat to check out some of the nearby secluded coves (Paradise Beach, Pirates Bay, Cold Water Bay) where we could jump off and swim. Super fun! The whole weekend was a very relaxing time. I'd love to go back.
