I started my birthday celebrations early with a weekend away in a village called Amersham in Buckinghamshire. It's in a very pretty part of the country known as the Chilterns, celebrated for its walks. We stayed at The Crown Inn where Four Weddings & a Funeral was filmed. On Saturday we went for a short walk in the hills nearby and explored the town. It was lovely weather so we got lots of time in the sunshine. For dinner we went to an excellent local restaurant called Artichoke and had the tasting menu and wine flight.
