Christmas 2017 in London

Christmas season was exhausting with all the celebrations and bubbles, but a lot of fun. There were plenty of work parties and get togethers with friends in the lead up to Christmas Day so it felt very festive.

David arrived a few days before Christmas and we started the restaurant tour on the 21st. We ate at some great restaurants, saw the ballet, and had a couple of pub lunches. Not to mention cocktails at Dukes Bar and lunch at Cecconi's. We also popped into a new London destination, The Ned for a drink. We spent Christmas Eve at the Royal Albert Hall for carols. Christmas Day itself was at Fera in Claridges with David and this year also, Emily Galbraith who had recently moved to London. Boxing Day was the traditional relaxing day with roast chicken and DVDs at our place in Finsbury Park.

Our tree is up!
A foot bigger this year.
