Easter in Noosa

I had 5 days left of holiday so decided on a short trip back to Australia to visit Mum and Robert. Luckily it was nicely timed over Mum's Birthday and Easter. It's the shortest trip I've ever had back - only 9 nights - but it actually worked out very well. I had 2 nights in Brisbane and we had 7 nights staying at our favourite spot in Little Cove at Noosa. I also managed to briefly catch with Lisa & Louisa (my goddaughter), and Lou & AJ and her boys which was about all I could squeeze in.

It was short & sweet - a really lovely visit home. And the bonus of seeing blue skies and sunshine in March when the grey skies and rain in London don't seem to stop.

We came across a new lookout over Noosa

The view from the apartment; the sun finally came out

I take endless photos of Noosa. These are just a few...

Presents! Mum's Birthday

Birthday lunch at Ricky's in Noosa

Delicious passionfruit souffle for dessert
(the halloumi starter and barramundi for main were also excellent)

Walking at dusk

I did a puzzle someone had left behind in the apartment

Lots of scrabble and Holiday

Plenty of gelato from Massimo's

The Easter Bunny even found me

I managed to get to the beach for 3 days

Going for walks in the National Park each morning

A glimpse of Brisbane as I took the city cat to New Farm Park to meet Lou & Co
