The first three weeks of January, my last days in London, were mostly pretty stressful. I spent days packing up the flat I loved so much,
packing to ship everything to Australia and spending endless hours on the phone
and online closing accounts and changing addresses. Luckily I wasn’t working at
the same time because there’s no way I would have got it all done.
However, I did have a great time seeing all my friends to say goodbye (for now!), and eating out with them. Days and nights out were a good mix of visiting old faves, and even going to new places up until my last day.

As well as all of that, I popped down to see Laleh & Jesse’s new house in
Southfields, and had a last brunch with Laleh at the new Granger & Co in
Chelsea. I walked around Kensington Palace gardens with Mandy. And Ollie and I had a roast chicken dinner the Marksman pub in Hackney.
After all the boxes were packed and
shipped, we moved out of the flat on the 10th and I spent the last week staying with Stu
& Kris. and then flew out on the 17th January. Just 2 and a half
weeks shy of my 13th year anniversary of moving to London back in February 2006.
