We headed a few hours drive south east of the city to Phillip Island for the long weekend back in April.
We stayed at a really gorgeous place called Five Acres so we spent lots of time lazing about there, enjoying the view of the bay across the fields and chatting to pet Highland Cows.
We got glimpses of the adorable fairy penguins (that don't like to be photographed) down at the beach too but unfortunately the national park venue was more over run with people. The best part was going for beach walks around the island with its pretty, rugged scenery and farmland.
