Ana sees more of London

This weekend Ana was treated to some of London's highlights. Not that she hasn't delighted in so many of them already...we've spent our evenings promming at Royal Albert Hall, imbibing at the Trafalgar Hotel (wet weather prevented us from going to the roof gardens), and been to the movies (Harry Potter) at Leicester Square!

On Friday night Laleh, Ana & I went the More London development at London Bridge and had a picnic on a grassy patch with a view of the Tower Bridge. Joined by Laura and Maria, we were going to see some outdoor theatre at 'the scoop' but thought the chills would be best kept at bay by heading indoors to Village East - a v. cool bar on Bermondsey Street.

Saturday morning saw our merry little trio wander down Portobello Road to check out the Notting Hill markets. We made a pit stop at the Hummingbird Cafe with a coffee and scrumptious homemade cupcakes, and lunched at one of the street stalls. And bought fruit, frocks and travel guides (at the fab Travel Bookshop of 'Notting Hill' movie fame).

We headed east for our Sat night out on the town and lost several hours of our lives having drinks and dancing at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen which was great fun.

And finally on Sunday we had a great lunch at a gastropub, The Greyhound, at Battersea. Yes, we are covering every corner of the city!
