Highs and Lows in Brussels

Last weekend in Brussels was very relaxing. Mattias and I had lunch at a local haunt on Saturday and ventured to the outskirts of town to an enormous park, care of one of the Leopolds (Belge royalty), where people were fishing, lazing and learning to ride their bikes. We went to Bonsoir Clara for dinner, a cool restaurant on one of my fave streets, and then to the art deco L'Archiduc for a few drinks. And Sunday was all about drinking espresso in several of the old world art nouveau cafes sprinkled around town.

The park also houses the purpose-built museum for the aforementioned Leo's prize collection of pilfered African treasures
