Jaimee & Damian's wedding weekend

I've just come back from another fun weekend away - this time in honour of Jaimee and Damian's second wedding.

Dave, Piero and I caught the train up to Manchester on Friday after work. After a few drinks watching the sun go down from our fab inner city apartment, we went out for drinks on the infamous Canal Street.

On Saturday we wandered around the centre of town and I watched the boys shop and we went out for dinner when Natalie arrived. I quite liked the architecture of the city, and the shopping (Selfridges in Manchester is much more serene than in London) but I'm not so sure about the eating and drinking side of things.

Yesterday morning we drove to Marsden for the wedding. The venue and accommodation was conveniently all in one so we put on our finest and headed downstairs for a lovely afternoon and evening. Jaimee & Damian renewed their vows and then we celebrated with bubbles, dinner, cupcakes and dancing well into the night.

And today we drove back to London. It's always a long drive back from north England but we broke it up with a stop in a sweet town called Bakewell (home of the bakewell tart).
