Monday: After work, we had dinner at new restaurant, Nopi. Yummy tapas in Soho from the Ottolenghi folks but pretty pricey.
Tuesday: Shopped on Oxford & Regent Streets. A not-so-french pre-theatre dinner at Les Deux Salons followed by an excellent play, Clybourne Park at Wyndham Theatre. A couple of cocktails at the Experimental Cocktail Club rounded off the evening.
Wednesday: Bubbles and lunch at La Fromagerie with shopping on Marylebone High Street and Selfridges. Dinner at Zucca in London Bridge with Jaimee, Natalie and Rebecca. The plate of pumpkin fritters was delish!
Thursday: We celebrated Dunja's successful presentation with bubbles at Cafe Kick while we waited for a table at Morito in Exmouth Market. It's a new tapas place run by Moro next door and the food as just as good. I particularly enjoyed the malaga ice cream with rum poured over it! Several glasses of wine and a sherry later we headed home suitably sozzled.
Friday: After a pub lunch in the sun at the Two Brewers we toured Windsor Castle for the afternoon. Lovely castle and, as you'd expect, very well turned out. We met some of Dunja's friends at Callooh Callay in Shoreditch later in the evening followed by drinks at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, Charlie Wright's (do not ever end up here!) and then back to a a friends' place til the wee hours.

Pussy cat, pussy cat where have you been...

The Royal Standard flying means the Queen is at home

Believe it or not we kicked on throughout the weekend. A cooked breakfast saw us through the start of the Oxford Cambridge Boat Race in Putney on Saturday. We met some more of Dunja's friends in town at Mark's Bar (my favourite), had dinner at Dishoom and a few more cocktails at El Camino. Sunday was slightly quieter with lunch at The Waterway in Little Venice, a spot of shopping, a graphic art exhibition at Somerset House and a pizza for dinner.
