How to watch cricket at Lord's

For the bank holiday today, Elizabeth and I headed to Lord's Cricket Ground. Watching a game here has been on my list of things to do for some time so it was good to finally make it and we enjoyed the afternoon of county cricket - Sussex vs Middlesex.

This being my first time, I did make a few amateur errors. So here are my tips for any future spectators:

- Rug up. It's chilly in the grandstands.
- Take a packed lunch and thermos (or byo booze).
- Bring binoculars.

We were so cold (yes, it's summer) that at tea time with 239 runs for Sussex we decided to head home. I look forward to the day I am a full member of the MMC and can watch from the warmth of the Pavilion!
