On Saturday afternoon I was on the rooftop of Queen of Hoxton for Lucy's goodbye party. It was baking hot but I didn't complain one iota.
After brunch with Mailie at Salvation Jane on Sunday I spent a couple of hours reading on my corner of Wandsworth Common. And in the early evening I went for an ice cream and a walk in Tooting Common with Laura and Michael.
There's something serene and calming about seeing people lazily dotted around the mown grass. Being outside, warm and in a sundress made me feel like I was on holidays.
