If you want to see the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain.

Girl least likely to be bitten by the festival bug. Camping. Dirt. Mud. And those toilets. Why would I? But it's one chance in the year to be in a completely free and relaxed environment, where the biggest pressure is which music to see and what to eat next; with new experiences, and surprising moments. So it is just as Dolly Parton says. This year, was my fourth at Glastonbury.

The music (not as much as last year):
London Grammar, Kelis, Rudimental, St Vincent, Dolly Parton, Jurassic 5, K Pop at the Rabbit Hole, Arcade Fire, Michael Kiwanaku

The food (always amazing):
Hog roast, mac n cheese, pakora in the permaculture garden, avocado, mushroom & egg breakfast bap, paella, duck wrap, poached egg with bubble & squeak and salsa, cookie ice cream sandwiches, crumpets, burger from meet and greet

The extras (the zillion other things going on that made it great):
Roaming theatre acts (think talking robots), comedy in the cabaret tent, Shangri-La, reiki & massage in the healing fields, sitting in the sunshine on the hill overlooking the Park stage, nights at the Park Stage, the new tent lasting the distance, making a wood charm necklace in the green craft field.

Success, the tents are up
And so it begins...
The gang - Maile, Kris, me, Ollie & Stu at Dolly Parton

When was the last time you had your face painted?
