Christmas 2018 in London

David visited for 10 days for Christmas and our annual restaurant tour. He's been coming to London most years at Christmas since 2008. It will be one of the last here together for a long while.

We tried a mix of new and old favourite restaurants this time around and had some very good meals as always. We spent quite a bit of time Dukes and Cecconi's of course. I loved going back to Pollen Street Social and The Hand and Flowers. Some new spots were Kettner's Townhouse (where Claire Foy of The Crown fame sat at the table next to us - a great celebrity spot!), Noble Rot and The Hide.
I booked Rules, one of the oldest restaurants in London, for one evening where the food was fine but the setting a bit dated. It was fun to try out though.

Our traditions of Christmas Day lunch together followed by a visit to Stu & Kris in the evening, Boxing Day lunch at my house, and a trip to the theatre continued.
