December and the start of all things festive

The festivities began on the 1st of December this year. We bought the tree and decorated it immediately. (After the Christmas markets, a lot more decorations were added).

The tree is up at 38 Osborne Road

That evening was Stu & Kris' Christmas dinner at Archel Rd (their home). It was a tree trimming party too and I strung popcorn and orange slices for their tree. It was brilliant fun.

So much food

Aah!

The next weekend we were off to the German Christmas markets. This year we went to Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig. All great markets. Nothing makes me feeling more festive than gluhwein, bratwurst, and shopping for decorations! It was another really great weekend away.

My annual Christmas lunch, which I've arranged every year since I lived in the UK was the following weekend. This year it was at The Albion in Islington. The food was good and we had a private dining room which was perfect.

I had 6 work Christmas dos this year which kicked off at the end of November. Also included in that was my leaving do. After 10 years and 9 months, I resigned from my agency, TMW, ready for a change in the new year.
