Palm Cove Easter

Mum and I had been talking about Palm Cove as a getaway for some time and finally made it in April over the Easter break.

The weather was a bit windy and wet to begin with but fined up towards the end and Palm Cove shone in all it's glory with the palm-lined beach front and blue water. We stayed right on the beachfront so had a great outlook from the balcony regardless of Mother Nature.

Highlights were lunch at NouNou, a lovely beachfront restaurant, and a walk through Mossman Gorge and surrounding rainforest albeit in the pouring rain. We stopped briefly into Port Douglas which was a bit average so glad we were in Palm Cove. It was a pretty quiet four days and a good spot for doing very little.

Emergency vinegar for jelly fish and sting rays dotted along the beach.
