Friday lunch break

Today I escaped the office for some fresh air and to discover a new (to me) pocket of London. Louise works near Exmouth Market and so at noon I headed east from work to meet her for a bite to eat and see what the place looks like in the daylight (I was there with Mattias for dinner one eve before xmas).

I had a wander around the almost-pedestrianised street before we had a tasty lunch at Cafe Kick (there a several table football games to keep you amused while you wait for your food to arrive). It has a village feel but is more cool than cosy and I'll be heading back when I have time to linger in some of the other eating places which line the strip.
