Glam b'fast & cas. lunch

Breakfast at The Wolesely on Piccadilly with Pauline was a delightful start to the weekend. The atmospheric dining room has high vaulted ceilings, enormous chandeliers and black & white tiled floors, and is alive and buzzing with customers and staff. I had french toast with maple syrup and bacon for a surprisingly reasonable price considering the surroundings. And, Sir Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings etc) was there too!!

And for a totally different dining experience, our merry little lunching trio (Laura, Lou & I) was joined by Miriam and Nat in Battersea Park for a delicious roast at the Mason's Arms which I followed with an apple tart. It has to be one of the best pub lunches I've had in London.

Oh, and I did some walking, packing and cleaning in between.

Sorry about the stock photos but I forgot to use my camera!
