London Prepares... and so do Ana & I

London is abuzz with talk of the Olympics. Its mostly about what a nightmare the 4 weeks of sport will be to our commutes and avoiding central London at all costs. But there is a series of sporting events going on called London Prepares to build excitement in the lead up to the main event.

Having missed out on tickets to the Olympics, Ana and I decided to see the some of the Diving World Cup at the Zaha Hadid-designed aquatic centre at Olympic Park. We saw the Men's final 10m platform (featuring GB's Peter Wakefield who got a bronze), and the Women's 3m springboard synchronised final.

It was fun to see a bit of sport - something a bit different for me, and probably our only chance to see the venue in real life.

Rosy cheeks care of the 29 degree temperature inside!
