Long weekend in the lakes
For the second May bank holiday I made the trip north to the Lake district to spend the weekend with Lisa and the kids while they completed the English leg of their holiday visiting friends. It is absolutely stunning up there regardless of the weather which was sunny on the Sunday and wet on the Monday. We stayed at Kirkland Cottage near Skirwith again which is surrounded by the pretty gardens and fields.
