To kick off my fortieth birthday celebrations I arranged a dinner with my London friends at an Italian restaurant, Palatino, in Clerkenwell. The food was great and we had a lot of fun. A
fter dinner we had a couple of drinks at the Exmouth Arms pub.
During dinner there was a special treat from Laura who had sourced telegrams from a range of friends and family and read them all out over dinner. It was a lovely surprise.

We kicked on at the Exmouth Arms
It was open garden weekend the next day so we spent the afternoon in the sunshine in what is normally a private garden in Notting Hill. It was a gorgeous afternoon!
