Venice, Verona & Rome

Three city breaks rolled into a week's summer hol in Italy with Laleh & Ana. It was great fun. Quite a bit of sight seeing, especially in Rome. Lovely streets & canals to meander down. Some great meals. Plenty of indulgences: gelato, espresso & wine. Great weather. Fascinating painting and sculpture. So much history to take in.

Venice was definitely my favourite. Enchanting and so peaceful at times. Verona had big shoes to fill following Venice I'm afraid. And it's hard not to appreciate everything Rome has to offer from the array of art to the good looking waiters!
