Years ago I enjoyed a lovely meal at Vinoteca in Farringdon with Tamara but I don't go to that side of town very often so I hadn't been back. When I read the owners had recently opened a second venue in Marylebone I decided it was definitely time I nab a table there again. It's another of the many restaurants in town that you can't book at, so you have to get there early or be prepared to wait. Becky, Jaimee, Laura and I headed there straight after work on Friday and were seated easily.
Vinoteca is known primarily for their excellent wine list, but also their reasonably priced, good quality bistro food and it didn't disappoint. After two hours of drinking their 'simply delicious' rosé and catching up we remembered to order dinner! I wanted something light and was pleased with my asparagus and mushroom tart and lemon posset.
I get the feeling I'll be back there again soon.
