A diary for me, my friends and my family. Started with life in London (all 13 years of it), and continues with life back in Australia.

Visiting the MacDonalds in Harrogate
In November I nipped up to Harrogate to visit Laura, Barry & Lucy who had recently returned from Australia. I arrived in time for dinner on Friday night and got to see Laura and Barry for the first time since I was back home in April. It was a relaxed weekend and lovely to spend some time together catching up. On Saturday we had a short drive into the country for a great pub lunch. The grouse was delicious. We spent the afternoon having a wander around the city centre and Laura and I went out to dinner together. On Sunday Laura and I went out to the Yorkshire sculpture park for a chilly walk admiring the works in the rural setting. There was a small installation of poppies by the same artist who made the famous artwork at the Tower of London to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of WWI. I missed my train back and had to catch a later train, but other than that it was good fun!
